Hardin County Democrats approve endorsements at meeting
Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, candidate for United States Senator; Mary Jane Trapp, candidate for Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court; and Doug Litt, candidate for the 4th Congressional District, United States House of Representatives were unanimously endorsed by the members of the Hardin County Democratic Central and Executive Committees who attended the June meeting last week at the Kenton Moose Family Center.
"Our members believe these candidates are well qualified for the positions they seek," said Don Traxler, Chair. "They have the experience necessary for each of the offices they seek and are genuinely interested in serving the people they want to represent. This action means that the Hardin County Committees have endorsed all of the statewide Democratic candidates and will be working from now through November 2, 2010 to get their information to Hardin County voters," Traxler continued.
Theresa Allen, endorsed candidate for Hardin County Commissioner, gave an update on her campaign. She reviewed the meetings, groups and functions she has been attending and participating in. She shared information about what she and her campaign team will be doing throughout the summer and fall months. The Committees unanimously approved a donation to her campaign and pledged their support to help her in any way they can.
